Cadillac Celestiq: An electric car competing against Rolls-Royce and Bentley at $340,000

Cadillac has officially unveiled the pricing details for their forthcoming flagship electric car, the Celestiq. Starting prices in the United States begin at approximately $340,000, which equates to roughly 520,000 Australian dollars.

This price point makes the Celestiq one of the most costly electric cars on the market, competing with luxury models from Rolls-Royce and Bentley. However, its features justify its steep price point.

The Celestiq features an enormous 111kWh battery pack with a driving range of up to 483km. DC fast charging at 200kW enables charging from 10% – 80% in only 20 minutes!

Luxury defines the Celestiq to a T. The interior features an eye-catching 55-inch OLED display spanning the width of its dashboard; this OLED display incorporates an 8K digital instrument panel, infotainment system, and passenger screen for optimal passenger experience.

Second-row passengers also enjoy two 12.6-inch screens built into the headrests of their front seats, providing additional entertainment during their drive. In addition, The Celestiq comes equipped with luxury features such as a Bang & Olufsen sound system, panoramic sunroof, and rearview camera mirror.

General Motors will produce only 500 Cadillac Celestiq vehicles yearly at their Global Technical Center in Warren, Michigan. Production will commence by December 2023.

Cadillac’s Celestiq car is an important symbol. As their first all-electric vehicle and their most costly, it shows their commitment to competing against European luxury brands.

It will be intriguing to observe how consumers respond to Celestiq. Given its high price point, its appeal may be limited to wealthy buyers – yet its luxurious features justify its premium status.

Are You Searching For an Executive Electric Car? If so, the Cadillac Celestiq should be on your shortlist. As one of the most luxurious and technologically advanced electric cars available today, its presence will turn heads wherever it travels.
